A softer, lighter alternative to heavy beaded lace — and one of the easiest fabrics to get a clean, expensive-looking gown out of.
The base is a fine net in deep navy, dusted all over with a fine glitter finish that gives a low, even shimmer rather than heavy sparkle. Over it, a contrast-colour thread is embroidered in flowing swirl and scroll patterns that run the full length of the fabric. Along one edge sits a wide panel of large embroidered flowers — this is the border, and it's what does the styling work for you.
Why the border matters: your tailor cuts so the flowers land at the hem of the gown, the cuffs of the sleeves, and along the train. The result is a dress that looks custom-designed rather than simply sewn from patterned fabric. No extra beading, no appliqué, no additional cost.
Because it's flat embroidery rather than raised bead work, this lace is lighter to wear, cheaper to sew, and far more comfortable for long ceremonies than heavy stone-work pieces.

Note for your tailor
This fabric is one-directional. All pieces must be cut running the same way so the border sits correctly. Buy your full yardage at once — dye lots and glitter density vary between batches.
Care
Dry clean or gentle hand wash. Press on low heat from the reverse side; direct heat will dull the glitter. Store rolled or flat.
